You can't wear a mask while you're eating, but they can (and should) ensure that you are seated at least 6 feet away from the nearest table. And I feel it would be the polite and concerned/caring thing to do, to enter the restaurant with your mask on - and leave it on until you are seated. And then put it back on when you get up to leave, and leave it on until you're out of the restaurant.

That's actually how it is at Nardo's, they ask that you wear a mask unless you're seated.
