It's just that I didn't have this forum to make my observations. The other big difference between Clinton and Bush is that Clinton had one major character flaw--an inability to keep his zipper zipped. At the time, that was enough to make me very pleased when he left office. Otherwise, the record seems to show that the country fared pretty well under his administration.
Bush on the other hand, is leaving the country in worse shape--in desperate shape in some areas--than when he took office. He campaigned as a healer, a "compassionate conservative". I even voted for him and his platform. But he turned out to be an idealogue, a zealot, as far from a conservative as one might imagine, an executive who made decisions based on gut feel and not a study of facts and the consideration of learned opinions, and a common liar. He'll go down as one of the worst Presidents ever to lead this country.
No, I won't forget that. I'll comment on his failures--in this instance his continued failures--as often as I see them happening. People need to learn to liten to what they're told and then compare actions with words.

I am not a fan of George Bush !!!
HOWEVER, the total lack of the same kind of vitrol for those in congress, who in my opinion are the direct cause of the current financial crisis, is apalling AND THEY ARE STILL THERE WITH THE WHITE HOUSE IN THEIR CORNER !~!!
