In 2011 when I bought my new masonry CYV it was priced $179K. I called my salesman from Maryland and told him I had sold my home and was ready to buy. He said we have a couple of new CYV's that were just reduced and told me where on the website where to look. As we were looking, the price went to $162K, I told him I was interested in a patio villa, the price then went to $157K and I said, did you do that. He said, did what, I bought the home for $157K.
My next door saw a CYV for $179K and made an offer. Afterwards he saw on the website it had been reduced to $169K, he said he wanted the new price, they said you're under contract for that home for $179K and that's what he paid. Prices change all the time. They say there not negotiable, but homes are constantly discounted.
