I'm 53, moved in last July when I was 52. I had to get a waiver to buy my home. They asked me if I had children under the age of 18 and where they lived. I have 2 adult boys. Both in the military. As a result, I was granted a waiver.
I'm surprised someone much younger than 55 would get such a waiver. I thought you had to be very close to 55.
