My naive silly answer would have been the price of a Chevy Malibu will drop to a level that they will begin to sell more than the Honda Accords. (I recently rented an 09 Malibu--> I was VERY impressed. Anyway, somewhere there's a post that it's not the # of cars being sold as much as the profit made on each car. I once had a professor say to me..., "you might be the most sought after and best tailor in town, but if you lose 50 cents on every suit you sell you'll soon go out of business."
