No one wants to stay inside, but the risk has not changed to people who are older. We run a far greater risk of dying from Covid-19 if we get it. I kind of now understand why murderers are so happy to get life imprisonment instead of execution...(just kidding)

One of the ways covid 19 kills people is by blood clots. Aspirin, and many other chemicals can help mitigate this.
The risk of death to seniors over 65 who are infected has gone down quite a bit, now listed as 1.3% by CDC. The risk of dying from covid 19 if you are under 50 years old is listed at .0005, way way less than risk for flu, pneumonia, car crashes, maybe even lightning strikes. Maybe they can get back to work and you can stay inside until you feel safe.
