Don’t confuse getting the virus from dying from the virus. Sad as it is, a tiny fraction of the people who get the virus die from it. The mortality rate among healthy people under age 60 is almost zero.

We have always quarantined the sick. This is the first time in human history that we have quarantined the healthy. There is no reason to keep the country shut down. If you are in a high risk group it makes sense to be cautious.

Opening the country does not mean everyone has to participate.
