Having a plan to address those who would harm your family or destroy your property is no more aggressive than having fire departments nearby to "BE PREPARED" to fight a fire.....that could threaten your life or destroy your property.
All too easy for those who have nothing invested in a possible event to intellectualize from a pulpit/keyboard.
