I am not sure what source you are looking at. Fox news has been listing all the officer deaths and attacks every night. A houston officer was shot in the back of the head this week, 2 shot in NY with the one stabbed in the neck, 4 more shot in NY earlier I think it was Sunday. 2 shot in Richmond Va Saturday night. Tut hats just the ones I remember.
