I'm not sure where the "respect" mentioned here in this thread is coming from. Now, people can surely agree with his point of view. That goes without question. But to say there's "respect" in this action seems contrary to his own words. To me, he's saying he
cannot respect the flag - or the nation it represents - because of what he sees.
