Gee, that seems very cumbersome. When I was sanitizing groceries, I would set aside a section of my kitchen countertop for all the groceries to land once they were brought into the house. I would sanitize each item than place it on another section of my kitchen counter top. Once all items were sanitized, I then sanitized the kitchen counter top that was "contaminated". It really wasn't too bad but I'm done with all that now. I knew that time would come and it has.
