"The Taste of Chicago" (worlds largest food festival) has to be experienced...to be believed. 
Better bring an appetite though...and an appreciation for great live music.
We came early when they opened, walked around shopping for a while, took an architectural boat tour (I like Chicago's buildings in general, even more than the Big Apple's)..then hit them again for dinner. 
I've lost track of how many times I've been there, but never timed it for "The Taste" previously...and didn't know what I was missing.
