That is completely different! The South were our brothers and they turned on us. We don't want to remove their statues because of slavery--it's because they were losing
traitors. And, now, the statues are there to intimidate black people. Statues of the earliest Americans aren't there to intimidate anyone. They were a noble people who fought to defend
their land. They didn't betray us.
