Beautiful mural, probably yes, but in the right place. Like on the side of a bus or truck that moves along. Not on a house forcing all of the neighbors to view every day.
Seems more like an artistic grafitti picture illegally painted on a railroad car or Interstate urban city wall. I cannot imagine how "tacky" this would look if each Villager could do this with their own sense of beauty. Would make one think they were on a trip on the Cross Bronx Expressway.

I thank The Villages if they keep this from becoming a common practice. The person that had this done had to be pushing the limit and hopefully got called.
Where is this mural you speak of? Is it painted on a driveway? We have one in our neighborhood and I was not happy to see it. Just wondering if the home owner got approval for it.
