Certainly there are many that strongly support or oppose both presidential candidates, but isn't really a very small and very vocal minority that is causing trouble?

I know that there are protests and riots going on in many major cities but many of our 330,000,000 citizens are actually involved in them. Even if it's a few million, which I seriously doubt, that doesn't mean that the vast, vast majority of us are all that divided.

I have friends that I agree with politically and friends that I disagree with politically. Somehow we still all manage to remain friends. We find that we have a lot that we agree on.

Almost every presidential election is won by less than ten percentage points. How are we any more divided now than during all those other elections?

It's the media and politicians that are telling us that we are divided when the truth is there are very few people involved in the divisiveness that we see in the media every day.
I agree the media has an agenda and pushes it every chance it gets. Sad that they have so much power.

Our representatives do not remember who they work for. Term limits or sending home say 300 congressman this November might remind them
