SERIOUSLY NOW. This is getting silly. When you buy ANY PRODUCE at ANY supermarket you must assume that 99% of the time it will have been picked up and put down by others both with and without any kind of diseases If you expect otherwise you are in a living in a fantasy land. That's why we have faucets that dispense water or even "produce wash" if you want more than water to clean your dirty produce. Yea, it's gross sniffing whatever but still it grows in DIRT and is handled by probably dozens of people before it gets to your local store. IF YOU BUY IT CLEAN IT! IT'S DIRTY! They don't wash it for you. Why do you think there are so many recalls of fresh produce ?
