Here's the original article. It didn't take long to find it: Cult Programming in Seattle | City Journal.
How about the email invitation, itself? Again, not hard to find at all:
Questions about who/how many, etc., could be addressed to the author of the city-journal.org piece, but are those really the salient questions here? One might think that a governmental entity presenting this would be the real issue, but I guess if only a few people responded it's a case of no harm, no foul, right?
Here's the department that sponsored this training - the Race and Social Justice Initiative (RSJI)

Thank you for
researching and presenting the actual
FACTS of this thread. Interesting reading. Reminds me so much of the training sessions we had to take on Sexual Harassment in the Workplace during the Equal Opportunity movement.
They were mandatory attendance in the company I worked for and they unfortunately led to many crass jokes, but the underlying reason for them was worth while.
I believe they are all in the HR handbooks and have to take place from time to time. It may even be a Government requirement.
I can only assume that a disgruntled employee brought this training session to the attention of Fox who jumped on it for obvious reasons. Pity.
