him accepting the appointment by a tainted Governor....in the face of the opposition stated by the people of the State of Ill, the Ill legislature, the Senate and Congress overwhelmingly against an appointment...accepting the position in light of all the above he is not much better than his appointee in disregarding not only the will of the people but every political category from State to Federal.
Burris, like Blagolotavitch is counting on the letter of the law to save their day.
As I have said before, the trait I dislike about lawyers is they either use or hide behind the letter of the law....NOT to do what is right....but to further their own purpose.
There may not be anything they are doing that could be illegal....that does not make it right...no more than a lawyer defending a murderer and getting the case tossed on a technicality...legal yes....right, absolutely not.
Therefore, Burris, in my opinion, is no better than Blago...another unclean politician.
