I watched both the 13 minute video and the 5 minute Tucker Carlson video. I have been doing business in China for over 35 years. My wife is Chinese. Nothing she said surprised me. Obviously I have no first hand information but I would give her the benefit of the doubt. I do have a few comments though.
1. Nothing she said in the interview was "kill-worthy". At this point it's old news. Does she have something more to say?
2. There are likely still cover-ups going on to protect people who could have minimized the impact of the virus, but in China there is only one person who really matters - President Xi. If there were evidence of him mishandling the response that would be a big deal. However, China has taken somewhat Draconian matters to stop the spread in their country which Xi has no doubt approved. They will do whatever it takes to contain the virus. It's in their best interest that the virus be stopped both in China and worldwide.
3. This was an exclusive interview with Fox News so naturally all the coverage on other sites will point back to Fox until she does another interview.
4. Tucker Carlson seemed to be more interested in the origin of the virus. This is useful if it can somehow lead to the cure. What Fox News should take from the interview is further reinforcement of the seriousness of the virus and encourage their audience to wear masks and social distance, which is all we as individuals can do to stop the spread. There are other threads on TOTV where people minimize the severity because most of the Coronavirus news is from the mainstream media and does not paint a flattering picture of Mr. Trump's handling of the Pandemic. If Fox News would reinforce the seriousness of the pandemic then it would go a long way to reducing its spread.
