Stating why the First Amendment was penned and proffering that the media doesn't spread lies doesn't belong in the same paragraph! The MSM (and others) continually spread lies to further their agenda and that of the state. To think otherwise is a fool's play. The CIA, NSA and others have been proven to have their hands dirty in this arena and can be corroborated with a minimum of research:
