Default US Open 18 hole playoff

One of the most exciting and compelling golf broadcasts I have seen was the 18 hole playoff between Tiger and Rocco Mediate at the US Open in 2008. And it still needed a 19th hole sudden death to finish it! Of course, I was on vacation that week so I was able to see it. Would have been very unhappy if I had to work and missed it! That's the last time the US Open used the 18 hole playoff. They changed the rule in 2018 I believe. Now a 2-hole aggregate playoff.
