UTEP has a lot of rather cool architecture. And I did NOTHING but had to meet the President of UTEP or something like that.

Very interesting campus and the Head of Reference there was a former Reference Librarian from NYPL. Nice people there. It is about a 70% latino-latina university.
They were looking for a lawyer who could mentor very good students for getting them into the top twenty law schools or something like that. The lawyer would also handle legal reference work at UTEP.
I flew in from Tampa, Florida in shorts and was freezing when I landed.
I have played close attention to El Paso since then though.
