If you want to get all garbed up, have at it, but don’t ever remove it while you’re in public for the rest of your life and don’t try to force others to follow. The simple gesture of wearing a mask will not be necessary forever. Once there is an effective vaccine or a successful treatment for Covid, the masks will not be necessary to slow the spread.
