Major League Soccer announced that the anthem would not be played before games when its season resumed in July following the coronavirus lockdown. It was fashionable in those days to own slaves. Just like cigarettes was fashionable in the 1930's. Now you are looked down upon if you smoke. Cigarettes were in C rations during WWII.
