But, if it makes some on here feel better, we can all get together and do a chorus of "the sky is fallin'"

Three people died today of Covid-19 in The Villages part of the three counties. One in each county. That puts the total number in Sumter County who died of Covid-19 at nineteen people who reportedly died of this particular bug, in the hospital, on a ventilator, without the comfort of having someone who cares about them and knows them well holding their hand and suffering too.
We all know that we have far fewer days and months and years than we used to, but no one wants to die alone in a hospital. I don't want to die at all, and this damned Covid-19 is a big deal and a source of concern (not hysteria) for those who have treasured friends who matter to them and who are older too.
We all have heard all the punchlines to the ribald jokes about how we want to die. Me? I'm not going to if I can avoid it right now.
