I asked a similar question a short time ago, in a thread called
"The Villages Population" and there really is no definite answer - as there is no way to count the renters/snowbirds/snowflakes/fulltimers, etc. nor can there even be a guarantee that your neighborhood won't be like a ghost town when they all depart

When my time comes= I'll rent for at least 6-months to evaluate all my options
