I’ve installed several doggie doors in wooden doors and even rebuilt a couple screen doors in order to install a dog door. For a full glass door (tempered, I assume, and not a slider), you need a specialty glass service. This is NOT a DIY thing or a handyman job. Glass specialists know how to cut glass properly. It’s not necessarily expensive, but they may need to take the door to their work room. Your usual doggie door installers are less likely to do it without breaking the glass. You see, they may need to cut rectangle out of an already set larger door-size rectangle. That’s harder than cutting one end off a piece of glass. They may also need to reinforce the glass with a metal strip and caulking, and they may need to drill holes in the glass for where the bolts go through.
