Go to Rural King and get a medium size critter trap and put a small dish or jar lid filled with a small amount of black sunflower seeds. If I catch a rat, I just drown them then remove from cage but if I get a squirrel or rabbit I put it in my car and drive it out to a deserted area and set them free because I don’t like to kill them but you can do what your own conscience allows. Don’t be surprised if you catch 10, 20, or more right away. If they get into your attic you will have big trouble including chewing wires and lots more squirrels!!!
