Boiling an egg...........my method: Tap water & eggs, bring to boil, remove from heat, leave lid on, let cool naturally.

It took me years but here is my method: bring tap water to a boil, put eggs in water, set a timer for 15 minutes, put eggs in ice cubes and water immediately. The ice cubes and cold water stop cooking the eggs. Wait five minutes and peel under a slow drip of cold water. Works every time.
