Has anyone else had windows that failed this early?
Any experience with a replacement window installer? If these fail this early perhaps a replacement window with a better warranty makes more sense

Typically seal failure (what you have) is covered for a long period of time. However, labor is rarely part of the warranty after one year. The $150 charge after such a short period is a shame. The labor "COST" is closer to $50. The manufacturer would typically just provide a new sash to the dealer/builder at no charge. Then, the laborer would take the old sash out and replace it with the new one. My guys would take about 5 minutes to do this. A "better" window would not matter, this is all about the builder making money on a service that a reputable guy would do at COST. (I owned a window company for 32 years)
