My daughter-in-law wore an N 95 mask at work. Found out that the Covid molecule is small enough that it will go through even an N 95 mask. The masks you see people wearing in grocery stores and Walmart and other places are absolutely useless. You cannot hide from a virus just like you can’t hide from the common cold or the flu. Sooner or later we’re all going to be exposed to this, but the good news is it’s 99% survivable. Most people that get it don’t even know they had it. I’ll let the geniuses out here figure out why this virus has been so weaponized by the media?
1. Covid is what you get, AFTER you are infected with coronavirus.
2. It is the coronavirus, NOT Covid, that has the small molecules you're talking about.
3. The molecules, while yes - molecular (doh)...cannot travel AT ALL without being carried by something. In the case of coronavirus, it passes via moisture droplets from one person's face (tears, snot, saliva) to another person.
4. The masks prevent those droplets from touching your face, because they create a barrier between external moisture and your face.
5. The masks aren't foolproof, if they aren't secured to your face with an air-tight seal (as FITTED N95 masks are). But the are better than no mask at all.
