Yes! Why maybe next we would be required to wear a seat belt! Wow, that slope be slippery.

We have always had folks rebel when new “safeguards” began. “Slippery slope” has been cited for decades but has not materialized. Helmets for motorcycle riders was a big one. Nothing new followed that. In fact bikers are no longer required to wear helmets.

There is no slippery slope, only what seems to be necessary at the time.
