I've heard a lot about Cardi B recently. I enjoy doing research on new things to me so, I googled her most recent (extremely popular) rap song and lyrics. The name is WAP.
I am stunned. I am NOT a "goody two shoes" - if you know what that means, you're from my era. Recall the outrage of Elvis and The Beatles back then. Fast-forward to these times and rap et al. In my opinion these lyrics are the most vile, foul, and outright disgusting. Is this what our youth is listening to today? What "message' does this provide to them? Especially our inner city youth. I am outraged, but can do nothing except bring it to others attention.
