I would set the humidity on 50%. A humidity reading of 60% is borderline high.

During the really hot weather (90* or so) the AC will dehumidify enough (if the temperature thermostat is set low enough) that the humidistat will likely not be needed.

It's when the weather starts to cool off a little with highs in the low 80's and lows in the 60's that the humidity in the house can creep up since the AC is not running very much.

I'd suggest setting the AC on 78* and the humidistat on 50% and that should take care of the house just fine.
