It should have been done many, many years ago, but I'm not going to hold my breath given today's attitudes by so many on other similar issues. Just the fact that it's only been 100 years since women have had the right to vote, is a travesty in itself and something of which we should all be ashamed. It also speaks to a national conscience, since our founding, of treating women and minorities as second class citizens. Yet, it seems like a lot of old white guys these days would love it, if the travesties of yore were still in effect in our country. I personally just don't get it.
