As others have said - come visit and see if it works for you. If getting the most house measured by $ per sq ft is what matters most then honestly there are plenty of other/better options. That's just not one of the upsides to The Villages.
We've been in The Villages for 4+ years and I play golf but I don't have time to play much golf in The Villages. There is a LOT to do here and there are a LOT of really great people. If you are an active person The Villages is a wonderful place. So much to do and so many people to do it with. We love it here and enjoy every day. We wake up every morning excited to get to the days activities. Hopefully you'll find the same thing.
