Oh "they" will be jumping on you for sure ! Can't imagine anyone thinking UPSTAIRS apartments where music (usually is playing loudly nightly) is a "good" idea, but yes, The Villages is definitely far far far from the idyllic retirement community it was meant to be. It's too bad is all, instead of getting so nasty, people should realize many do feel cheated by the "bait and switch" tactics, but on the other hand, when any of us just can't stand the "big city" crime, traffic, lack of real interest in making this the BEST environment for retirees, people will move and look for a nicer, smaller, community. When you buy in a town that is actually a private enterprise owned by a single family or holding group, you win some, and, you do give up a lot of constitutional rights. It's a choice folks, it's a choice.
