I certainly feel your frustration. However, what you say is not exactly correct. Let's say for example that you vote Republican. If the incumbent is a RINO and you want to vote him out, you first have to have someone challenge him and win in the primaries. Now the primaries work differently in some States. However, the premise is the same. More than likely, when you have an incumbent, he/she is entrenched and has a very big advantage. Most people don't even vote in primaries.
So, bottom line, get involved in promoting candidates for a challenge in the primaries so that you can run someone who is more appropriate to your Conservative views. Then the trick is to get folks to split their votes (if in a Presidential cycle).
I really think many just tore down that Dem Obama line and didn't even give the rest a thought. Shame on them.
