Depends on how tall the palms are? I find the bar on pole saws 8” are too short due to angle reaching up on older tall palms. They work great if they will reach the right angle. Just be careful and not kick up palm and especially careful on palm seed pods, releasing 30 pound harpoon 25 plus feet up and when they hit the ground a big thud! They are widow makers. I use telescoping pruner with double tooth blade. Lot easier to get in tight spaces.
