I'm not looking to take over TV, I just would like to see some entertainment geared towards my age group which seems reasonable given the investment that we all make to live in TV.

I just read that you have not ever been to The Villages.
It is the fastest growing community of it's kind in The United States. EVEN during the Pandemic. It is more than twenty miles long and six miles wide. It has more than 130,000 residents. Only two sit in rocking chairs on their front porch. It has the highest credit rating of any community in the U.S. It has low crime. Over 50% pay cash for their homes. It has a great mix of all priced homes, from over 100K to several million dollars. Forbes rated it the number one community of it's size in the U.S.
