Gator's dockside, amerikanos and margaritia republic are still open in the square. Just up main st we have the corkscrew, panera, ay jalisco and ruby tuesdays. Just off the square on alverez mccalls and flippers pizza are still operating.
Then if you go a few hundred yard to the east there is the publix strip mall where sakura, darrells and a chicken salad place are open.
A couple of restaurants closing is not a big deal. Toojay's filed for a reorganization type bankruptcy. It's obvious that they would close underperforming stores. It has nothing to do with apartments. Demshar's is closed temporarily. Hopefully, they will be able to reopen soon. Once we have a vaccine and get back to normal, those spaces will get filled.
