Warning: Paintless Dent Repair
This time of year we always get several reports of people scammed in the villages. I just got another call yesterday, and had a customer bring me one last week to look at. Im not even going to share the images, I'm sure you'll see it riding around town.
The only technicians in your area that are certified/ trusted techs that I know of:
Jason from Florida First Dent Repair
Brice Kelley from Central Florida Dent Repair
Kyle Chase from "I Chase Dents" (He is the only seasonal one, mainly doing hail in other parts of the world).
My name is Paul Whitehorn from Dent Repair USA (North Lakeland) and I will rarely travel up that far north but I do go for a fee. If someone is knocking on your door, trying to sell you Paintless Dent Repair, don't fall for it. For that matter, if they are walking up to you offering a dent repair at any time unsolicited at the grocery etc, then decline the repair.
Here is what they are doing: They are telling you they will fix the dent. They get partial payment up front (A professional will never do this). They use body filler and spay paint on your car, and then use a wax to cover it up. They explain that if you simply wipe it off tomorrow, it will be perfect.
There is nothing local law enforcement can do because it's your fault. You're basically paying for someone to hit your car with a baseball bat.
