Well the 1989 American Association of Law Libraries convention was in Reno, Nevada just about 8 weeks or so after I had graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School the May of 1989. Ran into two University of Nevada, Reno professors while in Reno. Both of these were Philosophy professors. I had cataloged all the computer files on WESTLAW around 1988-1990 or so for a national project working with conjunction with someone at SUNY at Buffalo's Law Library doing the LEXIS computer files. These were the two most used legal research databases at that time. NOTHING but quite an opportunity and I had been at the U of MN Law School at their Library when the Law Library Director there became Law Librarian of Congress. She was that from about 1990- 1995.
