Do not want to be contrary or contentious, but I'm trying to follow this line of thinking. Since there is a "pandemic", "social distancing" is much "healthier" (??) than "renting rooms to non family". There fore (I guess) the "logic" is social distancing is not needed with family because...... ? Because family members can not bring or carry virus into a space, no that can't be it. Think maybe another answer on here is more fact based; renting a room could be considered sub-letting.

Anyway, to repeat, not being contentious, but I am amazed and actually interested (even though retired) in HOW people "think and reason". Seems posts these days always lead back to emotionally based elements ? It's interesting, and enlightening actually, to read not just the opinions, but the what people base their opinions on. I've noticed a trend (a result of the virus ?) toward fear that I have never noticed in past years when it was flu season. Maybe if they'd get some music going on the squares, peoples' outlooks would soar ?
I am trying to follow your line of reasoning. If people will not allow or welcome their own family from away to come and visit them now during this time because they are afraid of catching the virus, it isn't likely they will want a roomer coming in and out, particularly one that is coming in and out from a health facility.
