What's going to happen at around 8PM when the bands go on their last break and the place becomes 80% empty (I know because that has been when we go to LSL for the last 3 years because the place empties out)? Or what about all those who manage to get dozens of tickets for F&F and never show up? In any case, Unless they hire cops to keep guard those "Villages guards" generally disappear as soon as they feel some kind of dispute brewing. In the past on a "popular" band night when it is very crowded they would force everyone to (properly) leave aisles chair free but as soon as a bunch of folks put their chairs in the aisle the "guards" are never to be seen again (or are gathered together talking near the outside sidewalk). They don't get paid enough to toss people out who don't have a ticket or don't pay attention to them and get into a dispute with some drunk dancer. I can't see how they can even close off the squares and only have one entrance. The squares are wide opened, especially LSL. LOL, Are they going to rent Jersey Barriers or part big trucks at the open areas? I see this becoming a big fiasco and I'd bet after the first couple nights they will either make it open to all (Gov Ronny D says go for it!) or just shut it down if they can't keep control. And of course the sidewalks will be packed with non-ticket holders. So why bother? Just open it up.
