you do want to water 15 minutes per zone before going to bed and then 15 minutes per zone in the morning once the temperature goes above freezing. The water will provide a blanket on the grass and plants and maintain a temp of 32 degrees which should protect from the hard freeze expected. Whatever you do in the morning do not and I repeat do not walk or drive on the grass until the frost is gone. This will leave brown marks in your yard. Do not let your lawn service mow the next two days either. You want longer blades of grass in this temperature.
