It has always been the case that, if you walk or drive around the square at Sumpter you will see little clusters of people sitting together chatting at bars or tables outside. You know those people are at risk. If one of them has Covid-19, the rest are likely to get it.

Now, since our governor has opened bars and restaurants, high risk activity is much greater. There was going to be a winter spike anyway. Now it will be MUCH greater as Covid spreads to those poets of risk takers. And deaths among Villagers is going to be MUCH higher than deaths among younger people.

But it has always been mostly in our power to survive this thing. Stay away from crowds, wear a mask, wash your hands, don't touch door handles, etc. The danger for us now is greater than it has been. And for god's sake don't listen to the happy news.
