I agree, GG, to me pets are members of the family....I wouldn't put a member of the family in another room....unless...as a responsibile pet owner, you know that the pets don't handle company well....so...they may be put in another room......some kiddos aren't well behaved either, and it is up to the parents to handle that appropriately as well.
