Cannot reply to which contractor to use, 2 neighbors used T&D for these type projects, results look fine to me. You will need ARC approval for your project (no cost, about 2 weeks for review). I am assuming the slider will be significantly wider than the existing window, therefore a new lintel beam will need to be installed. Plan on lots of concrete dust and noise. No idea how the house will be secured while the hole is being enlarged before the slider is installed, be sure to ask. Double check on the availability of matching tile, in case you need some for the area of the new opening. There will be several building permits required these should be obtained by the contractor.
