Some of the “better golfers” have been a bit upset with the maintenance on the Championship courses but I agree golfers are friendly folks. Personally as I got older don’t play competitive any more and as often so the courses as a general rule are just fine for me. There has been some weather and water problems with some of the executive and championship courses and that hasn’t helped with maintenance. As far as the courses themselves being friendly (from the thread title I thought that might be the subject) they would be more friendly for some players I’ve played with if they would move up a tee or so. “Pride goes before the fall”.
